A Sous Chef role is available at a high quality, fresh food branded restaurant in Newcastle Role: A brand new restaurant is seeking a Sous Chef to join the team of fifteen chefs working in the kitchen preparing high quality, authentic tapas dishes using top quality ingredients to create each dish from scratch onsite. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Sous Chef to join an expanding company which can offer you long term career opportunities. As this is a Sous Chef position you will be expected to run the kitchen in the Head Chefs absence ensuring that the company standards in place are maintained by all the team whilst also ensuring that all kitchen admin is kept up to date. Requirements: This role needs an experienced Sous Chef who is used to cooking within a fresh food focused kitchen where you were creating high quality dishes for large numbers of covers. The ability to work well under pressure whilst remaining calm and supervising a large team is essential for this role.
