Due to rapid expansion, we currently have multiple vacancies for a prestigious Retailer, with a popular and trusted name within the Home Furnishings Industry. The role will require you take on a consultative sales approach, advising customers on product choices that can be bespoke to their requirements. You will be expected to deliver exceptional customer service at all times while actively taking advantage of all sales opportunities. The successful person will have previous worked in a face to face sales environment, will be well presented and have excellent communication skills. Interested? Please read on... Responsibilities Meeting and greeting visitor to the store Presenting and discussing various home furnishings product options based upon your discovery of the prospective customer's lifestyle, need and goals. Actively take advantage of all sales opportunities, by upselling and cross selling where appropriate Maintain high levels of visual merchandising and housekeeping standards, whilst complying with Health & Safety directives Delivering exceptional customer service and building customer loyalty to the brand at all times Assist customers in financing, purchasing, delivery and ultimate overall satisfaction Minimise customer complaints Proactively assist with marketing new sales and special events Effectively maintain the customer database as and when required Consistently achieve set targets for orders and sales, margins, furniture protection and payment options Actively continue to increase personal knowledge of product ranges, sales techniques and promotions Essential Skills Excellent sales ability and track record of exceeding targets Strong facilitation, communication and interpersonal skills Excellent presentation and written communication skills Strong willingness and ability to learn and gain subject-matter expertise Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team Computer literate Sense of responsibility Negotiation abilities Persuasive Positive attitude and enthusiastic Self-motivated and dynamic Quick learner Open-minded and problem solver Ability to analyse and understand the market and detect customers needs The Package Excellent basic salary Uncapped commission 23 days holiday + 8 bank holidays, average commission you would have earnt whilst on holiday, will also be paid Life Insurance Contributory Pension Child Care Vouchers Discount on travel and dining out Please note that due to the high level of applications we are only able to contact you if short listed for this vacancy.
