An opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader in the Organics team at ALS Environmental in Coventry, West Midlands. This role will involve the management of a team undertaking analytical testing and supporting Laboratory operations. About the Position Hours Per Week: 37 Days Per Week: Monday to Friday Basis: Full time and Permanent Annual Salary: GBP22,000 - GBP28,000 Closing Date: 8th November 2016 Key accountabilities about the Position: Have a clear understanding of what the team are expected to deliver in line with the company's strategy and behavioursEnsure all staff have clear individual and team objectives and these are regularly reviewed and performance managedMaintain staff morale and motivationEnsure the team are trained and competent in the skills required of their rolesEnsure productivity whilst maintaining analytical integrityEnsure the team deliver excellent service to our customersHave integrity and respect for confidentiality on work and personal issuesPlan and organise time systematically, demonstrate foresight in carrying out tasks, and offer suggestions for improvements to tasks/dutiesManaging resources to meet service delivery targets within budget.Undertake effective staff recruitment and selection. Ensure new starters receive an effective induction into the companyEnsure that all work undertaken within team complies with all relevant HSE, HR, Quality, Regulatory and Accreditation standards and requirements, including maintaining compliance to internal ALS policies and procedures.Manage resources and control costs within the area to capacity model assumptions ensuring the team is working within capacity.
