A new role reporting to the Head of HR you will focus on the development and retention of key talent within the business. You will manage the development of performance management and appraisal processes, design a competency framework, lead talent and succession planning strategies, review leadership programmes and drive employee engagement initiatives. This is a key, hands on role focusing on the organisations agenda to develop its key talent to create a high performing, professional culture. The emphasis will be on designing and delivering learning activities to develop current and future managers, business leaders and individual teams. However, this role does have a broad scope of responsibility both for management development and the delivery of general learning and development activities to meet changing priorities. You will either be an experienced Management Development manager, Organisational Development Manager, Talent Manager or a HR professional who has specialised in Talent Management. You will be able to demonstrate success in the development and implementation of Talent Management policies, procedures and initiatives. You will be passionate about what you do and can influence senior stakeholders. You will; Facilitate and deliver innovative and effective development programmes to support management and leadership developmentKeep up to date with external changes/latest thinking in management, leadership development and share ideas across the teamsMake use of and develop effective blended learning solutions when designing and delivering learning interventionsSupport the delivery of management and leadership training as advised by external suppliersDesign and deliver a range of general learning interventions to meet business priorities and specific campaignsDesign and host train the trainer activities to capture internal knowledgeConduct learning needs analysis in partnership with the business to define capability gaps and prepare people for future business prioritiesAdvise line managers of the range of L&D support available and work with them to provide appropriate solutionsEvaluate and report on the effectiveness of the learning activity and quantify the benefit and impactPromote the L&D function internally and act as a role model for development and learningEnsure managers and leaders have access to additional resources to support learning outside of the classroomFacilitate action learning sets and promote the value of experiential learningPut in place and monitor project plans to ensure successful delivery of projects The company are well-established and have a strong reputation within the sector, along with ambitious and organic growth plans for current and immediate future.
