This is an exciting opportunity for a talented "hands on" proactive HR professional to enhance the strategic direction of their business with a focus on supporting a culture of trust, openness, honesty and excellence. Purpose of role: The role will oversee all aspects of the human resource practices and processes to support the company objectives. The ideal candidate will provide guidance and direction to all stakeholders within the business to ensure that best practice procedures are adhered to and implemented. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for managing and directing the human resource function to deliver comprehensive HR services across the business.Working across the true generalist piece will be responsible on areas such as performance management, talent retention, counselling, coaching, succession planning, conducting exit interviews, managing absenteeism, sickness, disciplinary action, grievances, appeals and ER.Measuring employee satisfaction and engagement through the operation of employee surveys. Identifying areas that require improvement and working with executive management and Heads of Departments (HoD's) on action planning activities and follow up.Coaching managers on performance management issues and procedures. Providing scripts where necessary particularly for those new to management responsibilities.Provide guidance on learning and development initiatives for managers and their teams.Managing the training budget. Working closely with department managers to identify training needs and source suitable sources for delivery on any training requirements.Overall responsibility for recruitment activity and providing candidate experience through successful onboarding into the business.Provide support and input regarding salary bench marking, benefits, terms and conditions (contract reviews), salary reviews and promotional criteria linked to training and development (skills and experience analysis)Providing monthly payroll updates to finance department and supporting employees on company benefits.Maintains HR guidelines by preparing, updating and recommending appropriate policy and procedures.Maintains historical and current personnel records. Ensuring effective documentation of all employee changes (taking into account annual financial audits).Work at all times to build strong credible relationships across all the business.Ensure all "People" activities meet with and integrate with organisational requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal stipulations, environmental policies and general duty of care.
