Claims Handler/Paralegal x3 (EL/PL - Personal Injury)

My client, one of the UK's leading law firms, are currently recruiting for a number of Paralegals/Claims Handlers to join their EL/PL Fast Track Personal Injury Department in the Birmingham office. The Role In this role you will develop in handling EL/PL MOJ cases. The role will involve: Managing a caseload of claims from commencement to settlementDealing with written correspondence (inbound and outbound as appropriate)Dealing with inbound and outbound telephone callsEvidencing and valuing claimsDeveloping and maintaining relationships with clientsNegotiating with DefendantsPreparing court documents and dealing with all aspects of MOJ process (Stage 1, 2 and 3) Experience of working in a similar role or a customer service environment would be an advantage. Candidates must be confident, self-motivated and possess excellent written and oral communication skills. You will be able to work in a busy environment whilst managing numerous cases at any one time and, dependent on experience level, be able to work with minimum supervision. You will be working in a team environment and should therefore enjoy working with others and be prepared to play a full part in contributing towards the success of the team. You will follow a structured internal training programme allowing you to gain the necessary experience to develop into a successful career.
