Import Logistics Executive

Import Logistics Executive Our client is a thriving global shipping and freight forwarding company based in Tilbury. We are recruiting for a go-ahead and disciplined individual to work as an integral part of the import operations department. Experience of Datafreight would be a great advantage but is not essential. The role demands excellent mathematics skills together with a good knowledge of import procedures for both sea and air cargoes. A key requirement is the ability to express oneself well verbally and in writing. The successful candidate will be reliable, punctual, and have good communications skills. You will also be able to liaise successfully with agents / hauliers / shipping lines / customers. You will have a good telephone manner; be I.T. literate with a good knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook ; be able to work well as part of a small team and be prepared to help out where necessary undertaking other office duties as required. The Import Logistics Executive offers a salary range of GBP20,000-GBP27,500, dependent on ability / experience.
