The Position Available:Business Development role - acquiring new customers, selling to existing and lapsed customers. Basic Salary: GBP22,000 - GBP24,000, plus commission (OTE GBP45,000). The salary package is flexible - depending on your experience, and you'll benefit from an uncapped, generous and an incredible commission package and the chance to develop your career. We are a leading telecommunications provider based in Horsham, West Sussex specialising in both residential (B2C) and business (B2B).New projects have opened a position in our Sales department for 'New Business'. The Business Development team you will be joining works closely alongside our Field Sales, Sales Support, Development and Marketing departments to maximize the efforts to acquire new business. Job Role:You will be responsible for acquiring new business by contacting prospective Companies and using your product knowledge to understand their existing telecoms set up and promoting Global 4 Communications. You will book an appointment for a member of your field sales team to visit them with a view to changing supplier to Global 4. - The average number of appointments booked per day is 3-5 per Telesales Executive and full training and support will be given to help you achieve this. You will also be contacting existing customer to discuss selling additional products or upgrading their current product range and will earn a bonus for any sales. You will also be contacting lapsed customers who are no longer with Global 4 Communications, to advise them of new products and contracts and will earn a bonus for any sales. Candidate Requirements: Excellent telephone manner.Clear and confident telephone skills.Enthusiastic, financially driven and focused.Team player who enjoys working as part of a team.Self motivated.Ideally you will have experience of outbound telephone sales.Ability to think on your feet The Sales team role plays the biggest contribution in our 'New Business' efforts which are why a detailed initial and ongoing training programme is in place to maximise skills you already have and ensure you continuously learn new skills. Training will focus on product knowledge on broadband, telephone lines, calls costs, telephone systems and mobiles, alongside customer service training on call and objection handling. During your training your role along with the four other key departments will be shown in detail, and the numerous efforts and support you will have on a daily basis to acquire 'New Business' will be clear.
