Job Title: Client Insight Manager Deportment: Reporting & Insight Reports to: Head of Insight Hours of Work: 9am to 5.30pm Base: Blue Square offices in Hertford. Regular travel to client offices and stores. Overview Blue Square is a field marketing company promoting household brands in store. This position will sit within the Insight and Reporting Team and support the field and client service teams by providing efficient and reliable insight from our Reporting and Insight Analysts. Working with a team of analysts to create, maintain and enhance our suite of reports that are used to drive efficiencies and support key stakeholders in decision making processes. Main Duties and Areas of Responsibility Reporting and Insight Proactive management of reports on client campaigns, new product launches and promotional activity.Day to day examination and analysis of data and trends to ask the 'So what?' question and make recommendations.Constantly review and develop our reporting methods and tools to drive efficiencies and effectiveness across the business.Manage the production of reports to support the knowledge and awareness of operational and market activity with internal and external stakeholders. Client Interaction Develop & maintain strong relationships across departments, gaining insight into business needs to allow proposals and focus areas to be tailored to the client. ?? Work with the Client and Client Service Managers to develop robust reporting mechanisms which demonstrate that all SLAs and targets have been achieved Provide a flexible and adaptable approach in delivery of content to match different Client requirementsPresentation of insights and trends both internally and to the client.Continuous consultation with the client to develop insight briefs for ongoing and ad hoc projects.Presence at all insight related meetings with client and VP Team Management Manage and support the analysts reporting input and output mechanisms, ensuring current and effective information is gathered.Drive campaign creation/close-down based on Client needs, ensuring briefings are delivered to analyst and field teamsProvide effective communication to appropriate stakeholders to ensure solutions are provided, detailing available solutions. Person Specification Professional and analytically minded - ability to take data from a wide range of sources and convert into meaningful and actionable insightAbility to build and maintain strong relationships internally and with the clientStrong team player.Previous experience of managing a small team essentialRetail experience preferableExcellent process managementProblem solverEffective communicatorAble to work in a fast paced environmentAbility to multi-task and work to deadlineAble to communicate with all levels of the organisationMicrosoft Excel and PowerPoint (required to a good level to be able to provide basic support with reports)
