One of our favourite clients has just been awarded the contract to launch a new careers guidance service at a Teesdide based University. This is a permanent role, and you will work directly at the University providing a careers advice, and employer partnership service.

Day to day your role will involve providing advice and guidance including CV writing, job searching, cover letters and interview techniques to students. This will be delivered in group sessions as well as on a one to one basis. The second aspect of your role is to engage with employers to source graduate career opportunities. You will be able to confidently talk to employers about the graduates, and promote the university as an active, cost free talent pool to employers. Furthermore, you will be able to act as a recruiter for employers, helping them harvest graduates for their vacancies, and ultimately forging longer term relationships

To apply for this role, its essential that you have an ability to engage with employers. Therefore B2B sales experience is essential, either from a similar role or from recruitment, welfare to work or apprenticeships. To apply its essential that you have a degree. The starting salary for the role is normally between GBP22k - GBP24k, and after probation, you can move up the salary scales towards a GBP27k salary scale (based on performance). The company has a great benefits package and access to grow and develop through their qualification frameworks. This role would really suit a recruitment consultant looking for a change, or with strong employer engagement experience.

Please note, you would start anywhere between GBP20,000 - GBP25,000, and after probation will be able to move up salary increments based in performance to GBP27k
