Java Software Developer
We are looking for a number of experienced Java Software Developer with 5 - 15 years + years experience.
Developers will undertake development activities in Agile and classical practices. You will be responsible for coding, building, testing and maintenance of software systems, and coaching junior level developers. You will contribute to strategic development by maintaining competence in open technologies and bringing in innovative and pragmatic solutions to both business and technical challenges.
Essential Skills/Experience
- Java development
- JavaEE or Spring experience
- SOA/microservices
- Test driven development and continuous integration
- Linux environments
Desirable Skills/Experience
- Enterprise Middleware and frameworks - eg workflow, integration, messaging, business rules etc.
- Development using Open Source technologies such as MongoDB, Neo4J, Hadoop, PostgreSQL, Pentaho, Jasper, Talend, ELK, Lumify, Drools, Jbpm, Camel, ActiveMQ, Python
- JBoss solutions and products
- XML/XSLT
- Big Data analytics and infrastructure
- Code performance profiling
- Cloud container environments
- Experience of agile development, ideally SCRUM
- Participation in an Open Source community project
Knowledge of Spring framework
