This rapidly growing, start-up feel technology business are one of the leading SAAS providers in the country. The IT team have doubled in size over the past 12 months and as a result of further business wins they are looking to add a talented .NET specialist to the team based from their head office in the Portsmouth area.
Your New Role
This is predominantly a hands on position working with leading edge technologies. As the company grows a team lead position is realistic but your passion now should remain with full stack development.
This company have a large, Agile development team in place and knowledge shares are actively encouraged to grow technical knowledge and to ensure continuous improvement for project work.
You'll be working on data heavy projects to maintain the company's presence as the market leader in their field. This will include actively identifying new tools and technologies supported by the MS .NET stack to implement into the business. The role will of course involve brownfield work but you should be driven by the new greenfield development work which will form a big part of the role to streamline the quality of the company's service offering.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have strong fundamental development skills in C#, Asp,Net (MVC/Core) and SQL Server. You will have previous experience working in an Agile team ideally following regular Scrum intervals and will subscribe to clean, well-structured coding principles championed by Uncle Bob.
Ideally you'll consider yourself to be language agnostic and will believe that the development process incorporates testing and bug fixing continuously.
It is essential that you are a strong communicator and have good interpersonal skills as there is interaction with their international locations.
