Middle Years Programme Coordinator (Years 9 - 11)
FOR APRIL/SEPTEMBER 2017
Building on the success of Fulham Prep and Pre-Prep, the Governors have announced the opening of a Senior School in the Fulham area. The school now seeks to appoint an experienced Senior School Teacher to help develop the curriculum, tutor a Year 9 Form and lead the exciting project forward acting under the Principal.
Reporting to the Principal or his designate, the Middle Years Programme (MYP) Coordinator is responsible for leading the overall implementation and development of the Middle Years Programme in Years 9 to 11 at Fulham Prep Senior School. You will have a primary role in supporting the school's GCSE implementation, authorisation and evaluation processes.
As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will work closely and collaboratively with all members of the secondary team, school leaders, and other programme coordinators to establish a school MYP structure. You will provide support to teachers and students; create and maintain school-based training opportunities, programme monitoring and regulation compliance; ensure resource management; and identify and address MYP professional development needs of the teachers.
Together with the School Leadership Team and other coordinators, you will also have an important role in student management and welfare.
You will offer excellent teaching in a specialist subject area (preferably though not exclusively, Mathematics) to GCSE and A level. This is an opportunity for the right flexible, innovative and motivated person to make a real difference on the London Senior School scene.
Remuneration commensurate with experience.
