HR Administrator - Shared Service - South Shields

Spring Technology are currently working in partnership with a major service provider to recruit a HR Administrator for their Shared Service Centre in South Shields!

This is a 12 months Fixed Term Contract position.

The role is paying GBP17,774 per annum + pension + annual leave + excellent company specific benefits!

The Company
You will be working for one of the most recognisable brands in the UK who, as part of their major operations, provide HR and other services to the Public Sector.

The Role
In this role you will deliver excellent transactional HR services through best practice processes and systems to multiple clients on the basis of a Shared Service Operation to meet rigorous service level and customer requirements.

Responsibilities
As part of the HR Administration team you will:
*Ensure that all required HR processes and associated documents are completed/issued effectively, accurately and in a timely manner.
*Contribute to ensuring all payments to employees are accurate and on time
*Adhere to all deadlines as indicated on the monthly processing timetable and associated procedures
*Follow documented procedures/processes and adhere to the terms of the Client SLA and associated agreements in order to meet customer requirements
*Process all appropriate information received from the Customer and investigate as appropriate and in consultation with the customer when information is incomplete or inaccurate
*Ensure security, data protection and confidentiality is maintained for all systems used
*Process information received from third parties effectively accurately and in a timely manner
*Log all enquiries/issues as per the agreed procedure, investigate and ensure resolution with the customer within an agreed timescale.
*Remain up to date on HR policies and procedures
*Contribute to the overall effectiveness of the HR/Payroll Shared Service function as required by sharing knowledge and assisting with skills transfer
*Escalate at the earliest opportunity when obligations to Clients or other departments cannot be met
*Work in an organised manner, maintain a clean desk policy and ensure confidentiality of data at all times

Requirements
*Experience of working in an HR administrative role
*Experience of working in a very busy department and deal with large volumes of data
*Excellent organisational skills
*Ideally experience of working in a Shared Service Environment
