Purpose of the role: To assist the Quality Manager with the development of our Quality Management System around key areas of the business, focussing on ISO standards, Risk Identification, P Flows, Control Plans, WI????????s, Prevention Methodologies and Continuous Improvement philosophies.

Reports to: Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager

Relationships: (main customers / suppliers)
Internal: All departments, Senior Managers, Team Leaders,
External: All customers, Group Companies, Suppliers

Responsibilities and Duties:

To develop the site QMS system to meet requirements IATF-16949:2016, ISO9001:2015 and ISO/TS16949:2009
a) To develop and implement QMS document control system
b) To develop and implement a system for the use of P Flow, PFMEA, Control Plans and STD OPS to meet the needs of the business
c) To develop and implement a system for the generation and update of Process Sequence Flows and Layout Charts representing the activities of the business
d) To support the internal audit activities of the business offering mentoring and development of internal audit process
e) To develop a realistic system for product and process audits
f) To help with the development and introduction of process change procedures to manage risk throughout the organization

Minimum Requirements:

Education: Degree or equivalent in Science based subject.
Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role in an Automotive Tier 1 supplier or a Quality Management role within automotive or aerospace sectors, preferably manufacturing

Key Skills: Knowledge of AIAG Core tools including Control Plans, P Flow, PFMEA, MSA, APQP.
8D or other disciplined problem solving tools Microsoft Office Tools
Knowledge of QMS, EFQM, TQM,or Business Excellence Models
Knowledge of ISO/TS16949:2009
