Module Leader - Fuel Systems - Northampton - to GBP50k
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Fuel Systems Module Leader to join a leading international supplier to the automotive industry. The successful Fuel Systems Module Leader will optimize existing technologies, develop new engineering concepts and make an important contribution to reducing fuel consumption and CO2 emissions on a wide range of vehicle development projects.
Key elements of this Fuel Systems Module Leader job:
- Responsible for the specification, development, validation and implementation of fuel and purge systems in vehicles
- Attribute target setting and performance monitoring
- Cascade targets into sub-system and component specifications
- Coordinate the activities of Design, Development, Purchasing, Quality and Commercial departments
- Monitor and report project status and highlight issues
- Arrange and supervise component and system testing and verification
- Liaise with clients and suppliers
Candidate requirements for this Fuel Systems Module Leader job:
- Degree qualified in Mechanical, Automotive or similar engineering subject
- Experience of fuel and purge systems and interacting systems
- Knowledge of vehicle, sub-system and component level design, development and validation
- Experience of managing suppliers using APQP
- Possess knowledge of automotive Product Development Processes
- Able to define deliverables and provide input for vehicle gateway reviews
- Commercial and supplier management skills
- Excellent communication skills
