Accounts Assistant (Financial Services): GBP18,000-GBP20,000 - Newport
A new opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to work in a financial services organisation in Newport. The business has enjoyed dramatic levels of growth over the last two years and is looking to expand further during 2017.
Reporting to the Finance Supervisor, the Accounts Assistant will be responsible for preparing:
* Cash allocation reports
* Bank and portfolio reconciliations
* Portfolio reports and resolving portfolio queries
You will ideally be AAT qualified, with bank and system reconciliations experience, good Excel skills and preferably having worked in the banking or financial services sector. You will have the ability to work to strict deadlines, be highly accurate and detail oriented.
The Accounts Assistant will also be a team player and have a personable telephone manner with strong communication skills. This is an exciting opportunity that will allow progression in synergy with your professional studies, allowing you to take on more responsibility within the business.
