Our client is a business steeped in local history and tradition. As a prestigious and award winning company they are looking for an individual who will embrace all aspects of the working ethos and fully engage within an environment which can be extremely rewarding. As the Accounts Clerk you will look after all aspects of Purchasing and Payment processes.

Your duties will include but are not exhaustive to:

• Bank Reconciliations
• Purchase Ledger
• Pre-Payments
• Purchase Orders
• Assisting in overall accounts up to trial balance
• Payroll (Holiday Cover)
• Other adhoc administrative duties

The role will involve working closely on a daily basis with the Managing Director who oversees all Purchasing requirements. The Accounts department is made up of a small team including a Sales Processor and Payroll Administrator. There will be training available in order to cover other departments during holiday periods. It is imperative that you have used Sage Accountancy software previously and an all-round knowledge of accountancy practices will be expected.
