Special Needs Teacher to teach in the Primary phase.

This school is an Expanding SEN provider in the Bristol Area. They are looking for a qualified teacher to work with Key stage 1 and KS2 Pupils.

All the students attending have complex needs, including traits of Autism and some of which are phyiscially impaired and require 1:1 support.

Roles & Responsibilities:

To take responsibility for the welfare and safety of all children on roll and to have due regard for the health and safety of staff and pupils.
To promote the aims and values of the school and teach according to the current policies.
To provide a stimulating and supportive learning environment.
To use a range of strategies to provide quality experiences which meet the needs of all children.
To teach pupils in the agreed age range and promote the well-being, health and happiness of the children in their class and any other assigned groups; to foster positive self-esteem and hold high expectations of children's work and behavior.
To liaise with support staff to provide the best education .

To be eligible to apply you must:

Must have QTS
Have UK teaching experience in a SEN setting.
Be a UK resident or be eligible to work in the UK.
Hold a current and up to date DBS disclosure.
Strong Behaviour Management.
Be creative and innovative.

Experience of attachements disorders would be beneficial.
