Assistant Financial Controller
Fantastic opportunity for an individual with accountancy experience to work with a prestigious hotel group, at their Bath location. This role will require you to work primarily within the key areas of sales and purchasing, for a number of departments. You will be responsible for the daily sales postings, the management of accurate sales and statistics data, data entry, and the weekly review of all the departments. This review will include: - Ensuring all departments are chasing their debts and managing debtors - Ensuring the guest ledger and deposit ledgers are being properly maintained and balances dealt with - Ensuring all inter-department ledgers and invoices are being posted You will also be required to work with, and manage, the purchase ledger across all of the departments, undertaking tasks such as: - Checking statement reconciliations, and food and beverage reconciliations - Managing payment runs - Taking responsibility for the utilities purchases - Taking responsibility for the processing of the Head Office company credit card - Calculating the monthly purchase invoice accrual for each department. - Accruals and prepayments It will also be your job to undertake any other tasks that help with the day to day running of the department. This may suit someone who is part qualified or who has gained experience through working.
