BMR Solutions is currently looking to recruit for a Sales Engineer to work for our client who is a large manufacturing company.

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for the development of existing customers to other global regions whilst also generating new business opportunities through selling the company's range of products and high-end solutions to new customers and regions this will may be in conjunction with intergroup staff.

The candidate will be tasked with identifying business opportunities, arranging customer visits and undertaking technical quotation preparation and presentations.

Other key activities include working with R&D on non-developed special customer requirements, conduct market & competitor analysis, promote the launch of new products and services via attending trade events, conferences and exhibitions. Regular travel within the UK and abroad will be expected, as travel as required to meet objectives.

Suitable candidates will hold at least 3-years' experience within a similar position; selling automation solutions or capital machinery. Previous technical sales experience is key to this position, ideally within an international matrix organisation. You will be qualified, ideally to HNC or HND level or similar within a relative Engineering discipline.

You'll also need the confidence, determination, motivation and ability to communicate well across all levels, with strong presentation & negotiation skills. A good eye for detail and excellent customer service skills are a must.

The majority of time will be office based, but travel within the UK, Europe, Asia and USA will be needed.
