An experienced Electrician is required to work as a Site Electrician/ Maintenance person at the Corporate Headquarters for a large national utilities company based in the centre of Bristol. You will receive free on-site parking, excellent training, 26 days holiday and a competitive starting salary from the outset.

As the Site Electrician and nominated coordinator, your duties will be to:

* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance and repairs to commercial and industrial electrical building services.
* Locate and rectify faults to various electrical services and equipment.
* Install, test and commission electrical circuits and equipment within a commercial and industrial environment.
* Assist in the installation of IT services as required.
* Portable Appliance Testing.
* Update and maintain maintenance logs, including fire alarm and static generator testing..
* Carry out general building maintenance tasks as required.
* Coordinate with and provide supervision and assistance to contractors working on site.
* Operate fork lift and undertake stock control and rotation checks
* Your duties will also involve day-to-day site maintenance, which may involve basic duties such as putting posters up.

You will be a fully qualified Electrician having served a recognized electrical apprenticeship and hold a relevant City and Guilds qualification i.e. C&G 236, 2357 + AM2,C&G 2356 or C&G 2330 + AM2 with at least 5 years' experience from qualification. It would be preferable to be Part P qualified, and have electrical installation experience in domestic and commercial properties. You be willing to learn new skills to enable you to also assist other teams in the installation of electrical services within substations. You must be able to work unsupervised in accordance with current regulations, using your own initiative to plan and complete work to deadlines whilst maintaining awareness of HSE requirements.
