Mechanical Engineer
My client are currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join the Product Development Engineering team based in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. This is a crucial role to the business as you will support there customers design, development and testing requirements on new products destined for flight critical aircraft hydraulic systems.
Day to day, you will learn from and work with other Engineers to design and develop complex hydraulic products and solve interesting engineering problems.
Your role will include a broad range of engineering disciplines including; 3D and 2D design of parts and assemblies, analysis of test data, assembly and test of products, report writing, finite element analysis, statistical analysis, mathematical modelling and development/qualification testing.
They are looking for someone with a Mechanical Engineering background who is interested to develop hydraulic design and engineering skills, paired with the enthusiasm, drive and motivation to progress within this field.
They will support you in expanding your current abilities and also help you to develop new skills which may well form the foundation of your career.
Key Expertise:
* HND (or equivalent) or Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar).
* Experience in a similar role would be advantageous but is not essential
* Hydraulics experience or a keen interest in Hydraulics/Mechanics
* A desire to develop a career in the field of Design/Development Engineering
