Title: Financial Management Controller (Finance Control Manager)

Qualification: ACA, ACCA OR CIMA

Start Date: ASAP (5 months)

Rate: ??500-600 daily

Working Hours: 9:00-17:00 (Monday - Friday)

If you're an articulate and highly motivated Finance control manager who brings a real desire to work directly with your stakeholders, this role represents an excellent and exceptional Financial Controller opportunity to have involvement in migration projects.

Experience:

Experience leading a team and Internal or external stakeholder management.

Experience leading Projects in Finance NOT (PMO).

Experience using financial systems and processes.

Experience in Reconciliation, BAU and Change Implementation.

Job Summary

As a financial Control Manager, You'll support the strategy and operating model for financial control, with the aim of establishing and maintaining trust and confidence of the key customers and stakeholders. You'll lead the Banking Management team (4 FTE) with responsibility for: Maintenance and control of TSB's Non Personal Accounts (NPAs), User Access Management of a number of systems and databases. You will be responsible for a large number of reconciliations which perform a check between the data produced from various source systems to the balances reported on Regional NPAs, including settlement and investigation of outstanding balances, SAP Journal processing for various Business Units in an agency capacity.

You will be processing SAP Journals of inter- system and money transmission settlements to support external settlement processes for Card & Loan Services within FBS. You need to have experience in managing the impact to the team of the migration from the current platforms onto the target infrastructure. Settlement and reconciliation processes related to the delivery/collection of cash to the branch network. Asses and adjust the operations of the team to support change projects.

Through building and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships in finance and across the business you'll help to deliver an accurate profit and loss account to our key stakeholders. You'll help to keep control of business issues and financial system complexities, by supporting the function with their delivery.

Candidate Summary

This role requires someone that has experience in change projects and ideally be a qualified accountant, Your knowledge of accounting standards will be exceptional, along with a thorough understanding of the financial services industry and its associated products, and you'll also have a strong financial control and reconciliation background. As your engagement with stakeholders will be of high importance, you'll need solid interpersonal skills, both verbally and in writing. Your problem solving skills will be first class, and you'll thrive in a rapidly changing environment. You will be supporting BAU Functions and help bank management team.
