Care UK We have a fantastic opportunity for qualified Nurses whose NMC registration has lapsed, to enrol in the return to practice programme at Emersons Green NHS Treatment Centre. We only treat NHS patients and we're focused on providing the best possible, personalised care to the people of Bristol, Bath, North and North East Somerset, and South Gloucestershire,. We offer day case and in-patient surgery across the following areas: dental surgery, ear, nose and throat procedures, endoscopy, general surgery, gynaecology, minor orthopaedic surgery, diagnostic imaging, pain management, ophthalmology, and urology. We also provide diagnostic services, using the latest X-ray and ultrasound technology. Responsible to Your placement will be on the ward and you will be responsible to the Ward Manager. Who can apply The course is open to qualified Nurses whose NMC registration has lapsed. Unfortunately the programme is not suitable for anyone who has had more than a 5 year lapse in registration/clinical practice. The course In conjunction with the University of West England we are able to offer you a fully supported Return to Practice Programme. You will be assigned a mentor for the duration of your clinical placement with us. The course is taught at Glenside campus and has 6 face to face study days spread out across the duration of the course which is run alongside the practical placement.
