I am recruiting on behalf of an independent retail energy supplier based on the outskirts of Birmingham city centre.
They are seeing a Debt Collection Advisor to join the team at their modern offices located on Hagley Road.
The purpose of the advisor role is to maximise the recovery of debt to minimise bad debt charge and write off through the delivery of exceptional customer service whilst utilising the services of external DCA's.
This role involves making outbound calls and taking inbound calls for the majority of time. You must be confident enough to work on both business and domestic accounts but must understand the differences in regulation between collecting on the two.
The hours of work are 8am - 8pm Monday to Friday plus one Saturday in four (37.5 hours a week)
My client is ideally looking for candidates who come from a Sales/Customer Service/Telephony background- so please apply if this relates to you! Even better if you have Collections Experience!!
In addition, you must have good relationship/rapport building skills and have the ability to work accurately and quickly with numbers to help customers work through an income and expenditure form.
The salary is GBP16,000 + OTE of GBP21,000
