A fast-paced organisation with a robust expansion plan, this role is well suited to individuals looking to establish a career in customer services or marketing within a dynamic and enthusiastic team with opportunities for development.
Reporting directly to the Brand Manager, you will be responsible for visiting customers and checking consignment stock. This role goes above and beyond standard inventory management as you will play an integral part with the sales team to identify and report back sales opportunities and point-of-sale collateral requirements and opportunities to promote their exclusive and private brands. Your ability to interact with the sales function to improve sales will be both valued and rewarded.
This company is the exclusive distributor for Landsail and Evergreen tyres in the UK and Ireland and the brand owner of Davanti Tyres. Your primary focus will be to travel to tyre shops and fast-fit and using our iPad based stock management tool, check that stock levels for consignment stocks at customers' premises are correct. Whilst at the customer's premises, you would also be expected to engage in dialogue with the customer and report back any issues or opportunities to the sales team.
Automotive sector experience is preferred but not essential. Your ability to accurately check stock and engage with customers will be key to your success in the role.
Duties include:
- Working with the sales team to ensure stock checking process for customers with consignment stock is properly documented and adhered to and that a robust plan is implemented to ensure that all sites are checked monthly
- Promotion of the brands whilst engaging with customers
- Gain awareness of the unique selling points of the brands
- Gain awareness of the point-of-sale materials available to customers and identify any opportunities to utilise this to maximum effect in customer premises
- Work with the sales support function to ensure that stock discrepancies are resolved fully
- Ensure new consignment stock packs are properly delivered to customers
- Produce and monitor reporting to assist with the re-profiling of packs when/where required
Required Attributes:
- Strong time management skills and the ability to implement and manage monthly plan to ensure all stock checks are carried out
- Strong communication skills
- Adaptable to working in different business environments
- Ability to embrace change
- Willingness to travel extensively - predominantly throughout the North of England and North Wales
- Strong IT skills - Excel essential
- Ability to work in a team and on own initiative
Remuneration:
£20,000 per year basic plus bonus. OTE £23,000
+ Company vehicle provided for work travel
