Salary: £20,000 - £30,000 + OTE

This is an exciting opportunity to join a London-based agency specialising in paid search, display and Social Media advertising, search engine optimisation and website analytics and optimisation. They are a small agency established in 2010, and their multilingual team handles UK and multi-national clients with sites in many countries all over the globe.

Continuing the expansion of the business, they are looking for a Business Development Manager to join them. As the BDM you will be responsible for proactively going out to win new clients to help the business meet its growth aspirations.

Main duties and responsibilities:
- Be responsible for generating new business revenue, and selling digital marketing services across a broad range of industries
- Prospect and grow a sales pipeline, handle pre-qualified leads and make cold calls to gather leads and close sales
- Seek out new clients and new sales opportunities, prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals, negotiate and close contracts
- Promoting the brand through exhibitions and networking events
- Delivering effective sales presentations with passion, personality and charisma
- Acting as a brand ambassador for the agency and helping to position ourselves within the market
- Building successful working relationships with the team internally to ensure successful collaboration at every level

The ideal candidate would be focused on achieving new customer and turnover targets, and would be a great addition to a small but busy and very friendly agency.

Desired skills and experience:
- A passion for developing new business and growing current accounts
- Thorough knowledge of the digital marketing marketplace (incl. PPC, display advertising, Social Media advertising and SEO)
- Proven track record of sales success
- Min. 2 years experience in a similar role
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform effectively under deadline
- Fluency in more than one language is a plus
- Able to build and maintain a strong working relationship with all stakeholders
- University degree is required
