Project Quantity Surveyor (main contracting) £50k plus package
Cambridgeshire
A fantastic opportunity for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join an industry leading main contractor with wide spectrum of work across East Anglia. The company in question are a UK top 10 contractor with a strong reputation for educational and healthcare projects with a premium level of finish.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience and must be able to demonstrate having full commercial ownership of projects with a value of circa £5 million.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Producing valuations
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Management of sub-contract accounts
- Resolution of contractual disputes
- Forecasting
- Producing reports
- Maintaining steady workflow and turnover
- Scheduling resources
- Ensuring that projects in your jurisdiction run to budget
- Delivering acceptable margins
- Achieving or improving on agree budgets
- Increasing client base
- Ensuring preliminary costs run within estimated costs
- Liaising and constantly communicating with management and Sub Contractors
