Main activities:
COMPLIANCE MONITORONG ,QUALITY + SAFETY OFFICER
Implementation of the Compliance Monitoring programme
To provide support and advice to project teams and functional groups on all matters relating to compliance and quality management.
Responsibilities include:
??Functional reporting on all aviation regulatory governance issues, such as:
??Perform the day-to-day compliance monitoring functions within the Area, including:
??In coordination and the approval of the Manager, development and maintenance of the annual Compliance Monitoring Program to include the scheduling of audits / inspections / Management Evaluations;
??Conducting planned audits and inspections on operations, facilities, equipment, documents & records to ensure compliance with applicable Civil Aviation Authorities, customer, and company requirements;
??Establishing, performing follow-up, and ensuring effective closure of corrective and/or preventive actions;
??Ensuring an adequate number of local trained Internal Auditors and managing this team (if required to ensure compliance);
??Scheduling Area Management Evaluation Meetings to review the performance of the compliance, monitoring and safety with the local management team, and follow-up on action items raised during the meetings.
??Participate in the bi-weekly and quarterly regional team conference call or meetings to give updates on his/her own training centre, and provide/get feedback to/from the team on best practices, issues, initiatives etc for increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the network.
??Ensure that all training centre employees are current with required initial / refresher compliance, monitoring and safety
??Training;
??Lead external audits conducted by Competent Authorities ,OEMs, & customers, and:
??Assist in the implementation of corrective actions and responses to Authorities to all issues that arise from external inspections, audits & FSTD qualifications
??Assist in the implementation of corrective actions and responses to customers to all issues that arise from external inspections and audits;
??All Training Course Curricula are up-to-date and have current approvals required
??The ATO is in continuous compliance with EASA Regulations and any other pertinent regulation.
Ideal candidate's profile:
??In-depth knowledge of EASA aviation training regulations. Part-ORA, Part-FCL, Part-ATO and CS-FSTD.
??Broad knowledge of customer quality requirements.
??Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
??Excellent organisational and co-ordination skills.
??Excellent communication skills.
??Good PC skills (Excel, Word. Project, Access and IQRS software).
