Technical Powertrain Analyst - Oxford - Automotive - cGBP50,000 + benefits.
Our customer is the leading expert providing market intelligence to vehicle and component manufacturers, financial, logistical and government organisations.
The purpose of the role is to work with a team of experts who deliver research, analysis and reports to clients within the automotive powertrain sector.
What you will do as the Technical Powertrain Analyst:
- Gain insights into current and future developments in the light vehicle powertrain arena using various data acquisition methods.
- Play a pivotal role in the regular delivery of detailed and high quality powertrain forecasting services worldwide.
- Attend industry events and client meetings in the UK and overseas as required to promote the business and gain market knowledge.
- Work with colleagues to improve the breadth and quality of powertrain services and demonstrate initiative aimed at improving processes and outcomes.
- Meet and present to new and existing clients along with supporting the Powertrain Director.
What you will need for the Technical Powertrain Analyst role:
- Educated to at least Degree level in a relevant subject.
- Intellectual curiosity and analytical rigour essential.
- An exposure to and understanding of automotive market trends.
- A keen interest in the comprehension of key principles of light vehicle combustion engines, varying transmission types as well as emerging and future technologies including hybrid, plug-in and fuel cell vehicle powertrains.
- Commitment, flexibility, self-motivation and a passion for the role and business.
