Our client is the world's leading original equipment gasket and engine component manufacturer and distributor to many of the world's vehicle and industrial factories. Their mission is to supply the world aftermarket with a full range of original quality engine components and their ranges are some of the best in Europe with a total of over 30,000 references.

They are seeking a new Supply Chain Planner to assist in the day to day management of the Supply Chain. This role will form a vital part of delivering procurement services to support the business need, whilst seeking to ensure a balance between parts availability and inventory holding.

Responsibilities will include:
-Monitoring parts demand trend and reacting to changes when required
-Maintenance of company Stock planning system
-Stock turn, obsolescence, and aged stock
-Manage suppliers to ensure on time delivery
-Product availability
-Production planning, Scheduling and forecasting
-Work with all other departments in the business to ensure an effective and lean supply chain
-Reporting on any procurement changes as appropriate

Key skills required:
-Excellent time management and organisational skills
-Excellent written and oral communication skills
-Analytical approach to problem solving
-Good attention to detail
-Excellent IT skills especially Microsoft Office
-Ability to work as part of a team and also work independently
-Show flexibility with regards to tasks

Previous experience in the Supply Chain is essential. Candidates with no experience need not apply.
Salary is dependent on experience.
