Digital Marketing Coordinator

Location: Worthing

Salary: £17,000 – £20,000 depending on experience

Duties of the Digital Marketing Coordinator

  • Designing email marketing using existing or new improved templates
  • Sending emails to an existing database
  • Building landing pages for potential clients to click through with a powerful ‘call to actions’ explaining what to do next
  • To track success of marketing by open rate, click throughs, time spent, how many visits and what pages have been of interest etc.
  • Generating prospecting lists from client activity
  • Splitting the database by the activities that the clients have demonstrated therefore providing the opportunity to become more targeted with future marketing
  • Establishing new data which would benefit sales and marketing
  • Utilising unique codes to develop and manage PPC adverts which are targeted specifically to the activity that the visitor has demonstrated
  • To actively promote increases in Facebook likes, followers on Twitter and connections on Linked In
  • To manage and develop marketing strategies that target specific messages to the correct potential client
  • To manage and develop conversation strategies which search for specific tweets that may indicate a potential client
  • To manage and develop marketing strategies that target specific video content to the correct potential client whilst increasing the number of subscribers
  • To manage and develop marketing strategies to encourage repins on Pinterest
  • Reporting on each activity by engagement, cost and ROI
  • To understand the client journey and where they are in the buying process in order to improve lead quality and customer experience
  • To produce weekly reports on the success of marketing strategies
  • To be actively involved in meetings with the USA taking on board suggestions and feedback and coming up with questions and ideas
  • Willingness to implement ideas of others and follow management instruction with a positive outlook
  • Managing Gmail marketing
  • Creating adverts for FB, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram, uploading and promoting as necessary
  • Specific marketing on SM, jumping on promotions quickly when offers come in and promoting straight away

Requirements of the Digital Marketing Coordinator

  • Proven success within a digital marketing role
  • To be a flexible and skilled communicator with the ability to communicate with Directors verbally and in writing to ensure maximum results are achieved within the department
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to identify new ideas to improve marketing strategy
  • Knowledge of social media
  • Knowledge of Hubspot
  • Knowledge of Goldmine CRM would be advantageous although this is not essential
  • Solution focused and positive attitude with an element of fun thrown in
  • Knowledge of Wordpress
  • To be committed and determined to achieve business goals and meet the needs and tasks set by Senior Management
  • To have confidence to contribute to business meetings with a positive and solution oriented approach
