This company is looking for a Marketing Executive to join their marketing team to provide support for the day-to-day implementation of the marketing plans. Working closely with the Brand Managers, you will be responsible for executing campaigns and carrying out marketing activity according to the agreed marketing plans. You will also provide support to the Web Manager when required.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Supporting with the delivery of timely and effective marketing campaigns as agreed with the Brand Manager across online and offline channels for the company
- Working with the Brand Manager and external agencies on PR, advertising, affiliate marketing and lead generation campaigns
- Assisting the Brand Manager in planning annual marketing campaigns, budgets and strategies
- Managing the implementation of direct marketing campaigns - print and email
- Copywriting - ensuring messaging and tone of voice are consistent with brand positioning
- Managing the production of branded collateral and sales tools
- Preparing customer data lists for email and direct mail campaigns
- Working with third party suppliers including mailing houses, printers and design agencies where required
- Day-to-day management of social media channels
- Managing website updates within the CMS
- Monitoring competitor activity and industry news
- Assisting and supporting the marketing team on additional tasks as required to aid with the smooth running of the department
- Ensuring Company policies and procedures are followed at all times
Person Spec and Skills:
- Ability to work productively in a small team, and communicate effectively with department colleagues and key business representatives
- Excellent time management and organisation - able to manage multiple projects, keeping to agreed deadlines
- Customer orientated with an understanding of advertising and marketing principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate at all levels
- Strong copywriting skills
- Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel for data manipulation and segmentation
- Experience of email marketing and working with email solutions (desirable)
- Experience of working with website CMS and basic html (desirable)
- At least one year's experience in a similar marketing role (desirable)
- Must be able to see how their role integrates with the bigger picture
