Experienced Estimator/Designer (Construction biased)

Based in modern offices just off the A14, north of Cambridge, our client design and manufacture parts for the major house builders, contractors and local developers and builders.
We are looking for an experienced Designer who cares passionately about providing a level of customer service and technical support.
Working for customers such as Persimmon Homes, Redrow and Berkeley, our client are making a name for themselves within these companies and are now looking to strengthen their design team further to continue their growth.
The job will involve estimating and designing predominantly, using bespoke design software. Our client will provide full training on Mitek software should you be unfamiliar with the system, both through external training courses and on-going training and mentoring provided internally by our clients experienced team of designers. The job longer term will involve speaking to architects, engineers and to the personnel out on site.
The successful applicant will have excellent keyboard skills, be methodical, thorough and have an eye for detail. Any experience using a CAD package would also be useful.
Ideally the candidate will have worked in the industry for at least a year and is now looking for a new challenge with a progressive company.
8-5pm Monday to Thursday, and 8-4pm on a Friday.
