Salary; GBP30,000PA - GBP35,000PA

Shift Pattern; Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5pm plus overtime

Location; Leicester

Our client is currently seeking a project manager for their Leicester based workshop where you will be managing and controlling the full project life-cycle from start to finish. The role of project manager is predominately work shop based but will include regular site meetings with potential clients to discuss their projects and undertake site surveys and therefore you need to be someone confident at liaising with people on all levels and possess relevant industry experience gained from a similar role, where you have handled projects at various stages ideally for bespoke products. You must be capable of achieving client satisfaction, maximising profit along the way and have worked in a previous project management role ideally within the shop fitting or cabinet making joinery industry.

The Role
Representing the company on site visits
Understanding a client's requirements
Knowledgeable on all products and services the company provide
Understanding a client's requirements
Interpreting architect's drawings & designs
Must be able to draw in 2D or 3D AutoCAD
Creating and maintaining project management documentation to appropriate standards including: Design drawings, fitting packs, Health & Safety requirements etc.
Managing resources; Liaising with manufacturing team and suppliers
Developing relationships with current & new external suppliers
The Candidate
Experience in a project management role where you will have worked on projects from start to finish
Great communication skills
A team manager and a team player
Ideally joinery, cabinet making or shop fitting background,
Ability to work in Auto CAD is essential
Inventor experience is disable however not essential
An ability to communicate ideas and processes with sketch details
A keen eye for detail & the ability to work under pressure
A flexible approach to work & the ability to prioritise & manage time effectively
Have a valid UK driving license
