EC&I Technician - Waste Management

Salary - Competitive

Location - Rye, East Sussex

We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical controls and instrument Technician to be responsible for maintaining the electrical controls and instrumentation equipment across the site based in Rye. Our client are international experts in the waste management sector and recycling solutions.

As an EC&I Technician general duties include:

* Fault finding and maintaining EC&I equipment
* Setting to work and supervising contractors
* Maintaining accurate maintenance records on the sites CMMS
* Ensuring that all activities are carried out in a safe manner & in line with company HSE policies
* Assisting the Engineering Manager with the supervision of all electrical, instrument and control contractors to ensure compliance
* Controlling EC&I stock levels
* Completion of work permits when required

The ideal applicant will have:

* Experience working at a top tier COMAH site
* A relevant electrical qualification (BTEC, ONC, C&G etc.)
* 17th edition, electrical apprenticeship
* PAT testing experience
* Test and Inspect BS7671
* Experience working in a chemical or process industrial environment
