New opportunity not to be missed! KOREC has a unique opportunity available for a Geospatial Technical Support to cover the South East of England. The role is a full time, permanent position offering a salary of £20,000 - £30,000 per annum plus benefits.

What are the responsibilities of the Geospatial Technical Support?

We are currently looking for a graduate or experienced surveyor / engineer to fill a permanent role of Geospatial Technical Support Analyst. Working in the Survey Products Technical Support Team, the principle duties of the successful candidate will be supporting customers with technical queries arising from the use of Trimble Survey products, providing training to customers and creating support guides.

This is a field based role covering mainly the South East of England, so when not visiting customers; there is the option of either working from home or KOREC’s Huntingdon office.

What skills do I need to have to become a Geospatial Technical Support?

Candidates will need a degree in the Survey/Geomatics (or similar) field or at least 3 years proven survey / construction / civils industry experience. You will be organised, motivated and confident with an aptitude for handling IT issues and problem solving, plus a confident communicator.

Knowledge/experience of GPS is desirable; in particular Trimble survey products would be an advantage, however full training will be given. Given the travel requirements, a driving license is required as a car is provided with the role.
