We require a Mechanical Technician to join a mechanical test team to build and assemble production test rigs. You will build, assemble, maintain and calibrate test rigs onto a SKID and prepare the full rig for test. The rigs are used for engine control unit testing this includes testing for pumps,fuel metering units and sub-assemblies.
You must have mechanical qualifications and experience.
Exposure to Brazing, Pipe fitting, bending and welding.
You must also be able to read manufacturing drawings, qualification reports and assembly instructions.
An Aerospace background would be ideal due to the aerospace standards DO160 and DO178B used, however any background would be considered if you have test rig assembly skills.
This role is likely to be a 2 shift pattern - 1 week of 6am-2pm and 1 week of 2pm-10pm
