Technical Sales Engineer
Job Title: Technical Sales Engineer Location: North Walsham Salary: Depends Upon Experience Technical Sales Engineer The successful candidate will be responsible for the sales and application support of company products and also bespoke components and systems. The successful candidate will have good proven experience working within the engineering sector, preferably with knowledge of gas flow and pressure measurement instrumentation and systems. Previous sales experience would be desirable, as would experience working with Microsoft Office software. You will ensure high levels of customer service are maintained at all times, and as a customer facing representative of the company, excellent interpersonal skills are a must.Work location will be split between being based at the head office location in North Walsham, Norfolk, and visiting clients and potential customers across the UK and occasionally worldwide. Full product training will be provided. Responsibilities Include: Promotional activities.Initial equipment specification and quotation.Primary contact for company sales activities.Visiting customer's worldwide to promote company products and capabilities.Compliance with company quality system.Analysis of potential markets and products to enable recommendations to senior management.Attending exhibitions and seminars, both as a delegate or exhibitor.Liaise with principals on performance, discount negotiation and product improvements.Forecast generation. Qualifications HNC/HND level or equivalent in an Engineering subject Sales/ Promotional experience. Gas flow measurement and control principles. Pressure measurement and control principles. Skills Excellent interpersonal skills. Microsoft Office experience. Full driving licence Security clearance to be obtained for access to nuclear power and military sites.
