A market leader in their field are currently recruiting an experienced Finance Manager on a permanent basis.They are seeking either a Qualified OR Part Qualified candidate for this position.Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities• Strong management skills and ability to interact with senior management team• Having/obtaining a full and detailed understanding of the technical aspects of payroll processing, including the ability to review and redesign processes where necessary• Understanding current and future legislation relating to payroll• Oversee the correct payment of a large weekly payroll • Manage & motivate a team of 3• Ensure all third party payments are made on time and accurately• Ensure legislative compliance• A high level of technical accounting expertise to be able to fully understand and manage the transfer of payroll data to the accounting ledgers• Overseeing/completing weekly bank and balance sheet postings and reconciliation, ensuring discrepancies are investigated and resolved appropriately• The ability to understand, process and reconcile high volume data and accounting entries• Responsible for Payroll year end processes• Supporting the Finance Director in the management accounts and other ad hoc projectsPosition Requirements:• The ideal candidate will preferably be qualified, although part qualified will be considered.• Will have good knowledge of payroll.• Experience of managing a team of 2 plus staff• This role will require a strong management capability and proactive self starter who is 'hands on' in their approach.
