Process Auditor

Purpose: This role will have responsibility for conducting audits and monitoring how well risks are being evaluated and internal processes and procedures are working across all stores. Responsibilities: Carry out regular audit visits to storesPreparation of comprehensive audit report and recommendations following all visitsAct as the "go to" person for any cash or stock movement issues that might be highlighted by any departmentProject work and adhoc tasks as requiredAssist in the improvement in internal controls relating to inventory and processes generallyResearching and assessing how well risk management processes are working and recording the results using software such as Microsoft Word and Excel Monitor inventory transactions within stock management systems to ensure they are carried out in a timely manner and in accordance with policies and procedures To ensure compliance in store of policies/procedures relating to:Discount guidelines, including staff discountTill and payments management including cash summariesPetty cash, bankingExchangesMarch Guard claimsStaff accountsStock checks and discrepanciesWeekly sector auditsAll stock movementAny other areas as required by management Skills & Experience: Flexible to travel on a regular basis to all storesBe in possession of a full, clean driving licenceHave full knowledge of the Pursuit system both at store and back office level Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work on own initiativeAnalytical thinking and excellent report writing skillsConfident and professional mannerObjective, logical and enquiring mindSelf-motivatedHave full working knowledge of company procedures and systems.
