Due to continued success and expansion we are looking for an office administrator and support team member in our offices based close to the Romford, Essex area. The candidate should have all round office experience and as a key team member you will be required to assist in the smooth running of the department. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, have exceptional customer service skills with excellent communication, planning and organisational skills, with an outgoing and professional manner and be able to work under pressure. Experience in the window and conservatory industry is preferred but not essential, as training will be given. Main responsibilities Answer each incoming call in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable mannerScreening initial customer calls; obtaining contact details; recording details on the systemProviding standard marketing material and identifying who in the team to hand a sales lead over toAnswering product questions, advising on product features, pricing and availability etcProcessing ordersResolving general customer queriesEstimating and providing quotes for customers (training will be given)Receiving and processing quotations and ordersDealing with supplier queriesGeneral office duties or any other duties as required Qualifications, skills and experience Good written and verbal communication skillsAdept at using computer including use or Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Windows based softwareGood telephone mannerEnthusiastic team player, but able to work independently when requiredGood communication skills both within the company and with customersGood organisational skills with ability to problem solveProfessional work ethicThe willingness to learn and take direction is essential Advantageous but not necessary Knowledge of building & fenestration industryFull UK driving license The hours are 09:00 - 17.00 Monday to Friday (over time may be required during busy periods) and one Saturday in 4 with salary of GBP17,000.00 pa with 20 days paid holiday per year.
