Powerplant Engineer

My client on the outskirts of Horsham are looking for an experienced Powerplant Engineer to join their busy team. We are looking for someone with an Engineering Degree, EASA Licence or suitable Engineering Powerplant work experience. You must be an expert user in IT systems and ideally have knowledge of the civil aviation engine and APU models. Objectives Engine & APU Shop Visit managementShop visit workscope planningProgram managementPowerplant Pre-purchase due diligenceEngine & APU Fleet technical managementAircraft and powerplant lease return support Principal Responsibilities: Engine & APU shop visit schedulingEngine & APU workscope definitionReview of shop-visit invoicesReview, assessment and recommendation of airworthiness publications including Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins and component service bulletinsEngine and APU reliability analysisInspection and review of removed engine materialReview of borescope reports, video's and picturesCommunication with powerplant manufacturer and engine shopCustomer liaison and communicationEnsuring contract deliveryPhysical powerplant inspection during purchase and disposalTechnical records reviews during purchase, disposal and following shop visit.
