In support of their current growth plan my client is seeking to build and strengthen their financial function with this position. As a robust Business Partner, supporting the Financial Controller and the Department Heads, you will take ownership of the month end and monthly MANAGEMENT REPORTING process and support the Financial Controller in decision making and developing, implementing and maintaining an effective INTERNATIONAL financial control function. You will also assist with the Group's annual budgeting and quarterly re-forecasting cycle and provide financial analytical support to the business. You will be responsible for the Group's day-to-day financial management and reporting, ensuring that all financial information is accurately recorded and monthly management accounts are prepared promptly and accurately along with cash forecasts. In this varied role you will take on all aspects of the group's PURCHASE LEDGER including processing and payment of supplier invoices, matching invoices to purchase orders and making payments to suppliers, MONTHLY PAYROLL, SALES LEDGER, including tracking orders and raising invoices on a monthly basis, CREDIT CONTROL and reconciliation of INVENTORY MOVEMENT. MONTHLY MANAGEMENT REPORTING will include preparation of JOURNALS, MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTS, assisting with FORECASTS, preparing ad-hoc REPORTS and preparation of quarterly VAT RETURNS. Your experience of FINANCIAL REPORTING and COMPLIANCE will be key as you will also assist with the preparation of STATUTORY and MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTS for all Group companies along with preparation and management of AUDITS and implementation of TRANSACTIONAL ACCOUNTING PROCESSES and controls.
