HR Advisor

Our client, based in Northamptonshire is currently recruiting for a HR Advisor on a permanent basis. The job is due to start a.s.a.p., and will be for 35-37 hours per week. The rate for this position is circa GBP28,000 per annum. Key Responsibilities: * Providing generalist advice in relation to people matters on all levels across the company * Delivering advice and support to employees and managers on absence issues including effective monitoring and reporting * Liaising with managers regarding recruitment requirements, job adverts (production and posting), selecting candidates for interview and offering to successful applicants, whilst ensuring all relevant paperwork and administration is completed accordingly * Co-ordinate and support training requirements by delivering, as necessary, on company related matters and providing external training dependent on specialist needs * Processing new starters/leavers documentation, preparing contracts, offer letters and all relevant references * Processing of payroll information eg: salary adjustments, shift allowance, maternity pay * Advising managers and staff on all relevant HR issues and ensuring compliance with all legislation relating to employment law and practices including maternity and work experience meetings * Advise/assist with grievance/disciplinary/redundancy/resignation issues as required * Responsible for work experience placements; maternity meetings * Assist colleagues as and when business needs dictate Skill Requirements: * CIPD qualified/ part qualified * Excellent communication skills/telephone manner * GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English * Strong interpersonal skills and good judgement * Ability to use Microsoft Office For further information on the above mentioned vacancy or to enquire about other suitable posts please CLICK APPLY.
