Field Sales Executive Hull/York/Harrogate GBP28,000 FP/13070/AB An exciting opportunity for a SALES / ACCOUNT / TERRITORY MANAGER has arisen to work for the global market leader in international express courier .The purpose of the role is to manage and develop a field sales territory based from the companies LEEDS depot. The territory covers HULL, HARROGATE and YORK incorporating all the HU, HG and YO POSTCODES servicing clients INTERNATIONAL COURIER needs. You will be required to achieve individual sales targets while meeting key customer needs. As well as managing and developing a portfolio of approx 100 active field sales customers, worth between GBP700 and GBP8,000 month and GBP100,000 a month in total. You will be targeted on growing the territory by 6% year on year, calculated monthly as a growth target from new business, organic growth and cross selling.You will be selling purely INTERNATIONAL PARCELS/COURIER. The client is looking for good quality sales people who are highly determined & focused individuals with the drive & determination to succeed. The split is 50% existing and 50% new business, with a new business target of GBP4,000 a month from brand new business and new development business from existing accounts.The successful candidate will be articulate, able to communicate at all levels, self disciplined, computer literate & hungry to succeed. Experience in cold calling, prospecting & appointment making, and/or new business-focused field sales is required, and a proven track record in delivering results from own initiatives must be demonstrated. Experience within the INTERNATIONAL courier industry is ideal for this role although Freight Forwarding, Express Parcels or general Transport / Pallets may be considered.The client is looking for someone who is already in a similar role & is looking for a change/to move. A proven track record of new business identification & conversion is a must as well as excellent account management, negotiation & commercial awareness skills
