Job Title: Senior Transport Planner
Location: Woking
Salary: GBP35,000 to GBP40,000

The Woking based team of a multidisciplinary consultancy have an opportunity available for a Senior Transport Planner with a background in development planning. The organisation boast a very strong market presence across the UK, with offices located strategically across the country. Their Woking based team have been successful in securing a number of projects in recent months, working across both the public and private sectors.
Job Specification:
* Educated to degree level (or equivalent);
* Chartered or working toward Chartership (CMILT, MRTPI, TPP);
* Strong report writing skills, including transport statements, assessments & travel plans;
* Understanding of planning policies & DMRB;
* Experienced with master planning;
* Proficient with Junctions' 9, LinSig & Transyt;
* Some experience with Vissim or Paramics would be beneficial;
* Confident managing projects and junior staff.
If successful, you will have the opportunity to further develop your project management capabilities and begin mentoring more junior personnel within the team.
Working for a leading consultancy within transport & infrastructure engineering, there will be a wide array of challenging projects to tackle, along with a starting salary of up to GBP40,000.
