Although this is a temporary role - JD Sports are always looking to take on permanent staff and these often come directly from their temporary workforce. Job Location: Kingsway Business Park, Rochdale. Pay Rate: National Minimum Wage • Under 25: GBP6.95 per hour • Over 25: GBP7.20 per hour • Night shift premium: +GBP0.39 per hour added to the hourly rate • GBP25 sing-up bonus •GBP200 Christmas bonus Job Duties - General Description: • Learn and adhere to strict safety, quality, and production standards • Receive goods as they arrive into the fulfilment centre • Sort goods ready to be stowed into the fulfilment centre • Record goods / inventory • Stow products into their correct locations • Read and follow instructions from the client's computer systems • Locate, Pick and cart customer orders from shelves throughout a large fulfilment centre, including on a multi-level mezzanine • Pack and ship customer orders The shift pattern works on a 4 on 4 off schedule. Hours include: • Days: 6:00am - 6:00pm (12 hours) • Nights: 6:00pm - 6:00am (12 hours) • Weekend Shifts (Saturday & Sunday) • Part-Time hours will vary but there will be a requirement to flex-up at a moments notice Please note that with the 4 on 4 off rota, you must be available to commit to the shifts as there will be a requirement to work weekends. Assignments will vary in length but are considered temporary ongoing.
