Technical Sales Engineer - (Industrial/Chemical)Birmingham. Candidates can live in any Midlands based location as this will be a national role with frequent travel. GBP25,000 - GBP35,000 base salary. Up to GBP40,000 OTE + Contributory Pension of up to 5%. Car, mobile, tablet, home broadband. Technical Sales professional required by expanding industrial machinery manufacturer that are part of an international group of companies. They offer scope for development and progression internally and also with a much larger multi-national partner brand. The role will be suited to experienced technical sales professionals from an industrial or chemical engineering based background. Experience selling for machinery manufacturers, chemical manufacturers or scientific process machinery for use in the lab will be applicable. You will maintain client relationships and focus on the growth of market share across the UK market. There is a wealth of opportunity across the UK and many untouched potential customers. These niche products are most commonly but not exclusively used within the automotive and aerospace R&D and manufacturing sectors. The role requires someone with high levels of energy and drive that will need minimal management to hit targets and be spending the majority of time on the road at face to face client meetings. The company produce a range of specialist wear testing and corrosion gauging equipment for coatings and alloys among other devices and have grown fantastically. They have recently been acquired by another brand that has injected new investment and are applying their expertise to take the business forward. The Person Required:* Experienced Technical Sales professional or engineer with strong sales experience* From a industrial or chemical based machinery or products manufacturing sales background. * Must have a minimum of 2 years technical sales experience within a relevant environment. * Hold a full UK driving licence and be eligible to work within the UK
